Our Approach

The aim of our innovation & commercialization program (so-called Orange5x) is to accelerate the progress of the best-in-class and carefully selected startups through the stages of their evolution in order to significantly improve their odds of commercialization success and market entry. Using an expert team of startup mentors and business developers that can assist in designing and implementing commercialization strategies, Orange5x commercializes world-class innovation in HealthTech, MedTech, BioTech, and HealthTec.

03

Area of Focus

Orange has oriented its commercialization and innovation acceleration services around the healthcare industry, focusing on the Biotech, Foodtech, MedTech, and Healthtech sectors. Startups in the nutraceutical and cosmeceutical sectors have been our primary focus in recent months. This brings to the table a wide range of startups trying their best to introduce innovative and disruptive optimizing personal and preventative care technologies, therapeutic technologies, medical devices, and diagnostic technologies.

Commercialization

The commercialization process involves engaging in market-relevant activities that result in the launch of products or services. This might involve identifying or creating a new product or service and bringing it to market on time by establishing and managing the entire business unit. Commercialization is transferring proprietary technology from the research laboratory to the marketplace.

Our Solution

The emergence and development of a startup do not occur in a vacuum. A startup’s growth is closely tied to its surrounding environment, leveraging existing resources, and engaging in exchanges with others. In the meantime, and to gain a deeper understanding of the underlying causes of start-up obstacles and dilemmas, Orange has unpacked, framed, and reframed them.

In addition, we have organized these obstacles into digestible formats for entrepreneurs or other stakeholders within start-up ecosystems. As a result of identifying and categorizing challenges, obstacles, dilemmas, incentives, facilitators, and facts, we have engineered and designed a proprietary approach to accelerate commercialization and innovation across regional borders.
