Our Approach
Our innovation & commercialization program (so-called Orange5x) aims to accelerate the progress of the best-in-class and carefully selected startups through the stages of their evolution to improve their odds of commercialization success and market entry significantly. Using an expert team of startup mentors and business developers that can assist in designing and implementing commercialization strategies, Orange5x commercializes world-class sustainable innovation in CleanTech, GreenTech, and sustainability domains.
Area of Focus
The Orange commercialization and innovation acceleration services are based on a tripartite approach that includes the environment, society, and economy. Our acceleration programs began in late 2018, focusing on Biotech, Foodtech, MedTech, and HealthTech. Since early 2021, we’ve focused primarily on startups that address sustainability challenges and goals. Our focus on green and clean technologies brings us a wide variety of startups introducing innovative, disruptive, and sustainable products and services covering water, transportation, energy, waste, materials, agriculture, food, and drugs.
Commercialization
The commercialization process involves engaging in market-relevant activities that result in the launch of products or services. This might involve identifying or creating a new product or service and bringing it to market on time by establishing and managing the entire business unit. Commercialization is transferring proprietary technology from the research laboratory to the marketplace.
Our Solution
The emergence and development of a startup do not occur in a vacuum. A startup’s growth is closely tied to its surrounding environment, leveraging existing resources and engaging in exchanges with others.
